On the 20th of January, Allmotex proudly hosted its inaugural event, "Latex in Living Colours," marking a significant milestone in our journey to promote the versatile world of latex and its application in fashion. This vibrant gathering was not only a celebration of latex's boundless possibilities but also a platform for creativity, learning, and community.
The highlight of the event was the workshop led by the talented @Joajoa_latex. Joana showcased her exquisite latex garments, sharing her expertise and passion for latex fashion with an eager audience. The workshop received extraordinary feedback, with visitors captivated by Joana's skill and charisma, reflecting the event's success in enchanting attendees with the art of latex clothing creation.
Adding a unique flair to the event were the stunning masks and presence of shinyfoxshinywolf. Their exceptional exhibition merged seamlessly with the crowd, enjoying the convivial atmosphere, delicious food and drinks, and the spirited small rave that capped off the night. Their engagement with the visitors underscored the event's inclusive and celebratory spirit, highlighting the exceptional people that make up our community.
A standout feature of the was the exhibition of the Toreiro garment, an incredible piece of artistry by Pedro, also known as Thatsmokep. This masterpiece, kindly lent to us for the event, showcased the magical possibilities latent in latex, leaving visitors in awe of Pedro's skill and creativity.
Curated by Catia, the exhibition spotlighted the works of several remarkable artists and designers, each contributing their unique vision to the latex canvas. We were thrilled to present the creations of Sigrid Latex, Tarza & Jane, Latex Repair, Trippytita, Lechiamphotographie with the stunning model Dorothy, Antoxic Studio, Latex Flamingo, Latex X-Sailing and K.N.D - This is my art space. Their contributions highlighted the versatility and beauty of latex, pushing the boundaries of fashion, fetish and art.
Allmotex is a vision brought to life by Catia Ferreira, founder of Allmotex, and Franz Ferreira, our visual artist, two newcomers to the latex scene with a shared passion for sustainable materials, unique projects, and the uncharted territories of latex fashion. This event was a testament to their passion and commitment, offering a glimpse into their harmonious collaboration. Allmotex owes a debt of gratitude to all the artists, designers, and attendees who made "Latex in Living Colours" a resounding success.
The event's success was also bolstered by the exceptional culinary delights provided by Vanda & Lilia. Their catering company, known for creating some of the best food in the world, ensured that the visitors were well-fed and happy, adding another layer of satisfaction to the overall experience.
Encouraged by the positive reception and the joy it brought to attendees, Allmotex has decided to make "Latex in Living Colours" an annual event. Our goal is to continue promoting the incredible world of latex, bringing together enthusiasts, artists, and the curious every year to celebrate the material's beauty and versatility.
